day2 Tainan, Kaohsiung
早安!
Woke up at 5:30 (cuz I wake up at 5am usually) and felt really awake, so just checked sns in my bed.
At 7am, I took shower and I realized it was raining so hard! I just hoped it will stop soon...
when I was getting ready, I met a girl from different part of Taiwan. She spoke good English and we fallowed the Instagram!
its really nice to make friends every travel! Added the place where she’s from to the list where to visit in the future.
When Yang pick me up, rain stopped and it’s sunny!
Hello, blue sky!
He took me the temple first!
The vending machines for fortune stuffs... Looks not really work tho
Looks familiar. We have similar things in Japan.
This is for praying for getting a baby.
Mom’s name, daddy’s name, and girl or boy that you wanna have as your baby.
This is for love.
This is for burning paper. Each paper has different meaning for praying. I saw the guy who burned the paper for money.
On mom the way we headed to the market, there is a festival for celebrating the birthday of the temple!
make a big sound and shake the car for god. It was very unique and interesting.
We got the market and went around. I found chicken leg... that’s something I can’t find in Japan...
Yang’s family runs the store which has a lot of Japanese products!
We got the flower tea, Taiwanese beverages are this size!! Very big and cheep and the quality is so good!
On the way we headed to shopping mall which has 鼎泰豊 (famous Taiwanese restaurant), pick Yang’s gf( Jolene is her English name).
She has just got back from Malaysia, and gave me a box of chocolate from Malaysia! Teste soooo good!
Took MRT(subway) to get Kaohsiung!
We got the waiting number and walked around the mall.
I had first zakuzaku(Japanese snack) in my life in Taiwan.
Elevator was so cool!
Japanese store everywhere!
We went to UNIQLO and I guided them around. UNIQLO tour in Taiwan!!
Finally our turn! 鼎泰豊 was amazing. I really like the staffs there. There’re so many waiters, but every single waiter had something to do and move so smoothly.
The company must train them so well. We had great food and awesome time!
After lunch, we got tram to get the designed stores.
Really fancy area, there’re three Tesla!!
Cold cola wasn’t something I expected...
Shops here were so cool, I really enjoyed spending time here!
We still had time, so went get some drinks! I realized that everywhere is Taiwan so photogenic and pretty!
It was time to head to the night market!!!
There were so many good food but Stinky tofu.... I will never eat it in the future!
i couldn’t stand this smell....
This this doesn’t look like milk tea but it was.
So much fun to be there, a lot of adventure and new things!
Mister donut in seven eleven... Wish we had this in Japan...!
Japanese in Chinese!
Sooooo fun day! Very eventful day.
time flies so fast... one more day in Taiwan!
day1 (Osaka-)Tokyo-Taiwan
Hello! I'm back!!!
Its been a while! Since last time, so many things are changed. The biggest thing is I’ve started my full time job. In Japan, once you’ started your job, it’s hard to take time to go to other countries.
However, I didn’t want to give up my adventure. And I made it! This time, I’m coming to Taiwan for 3days!
I have business trip to Nagoya and Osaka for three days just before departing day. And last night has company party in Osaka, yet my flight was 5:50am which I need to get the airport day before the departing day.
So I was running back from Osaka to Tokyo, took shower and grabbed my backpack and headed to the station to get the last train. When I got there, I realized that the time I thought was wrong, and the last train was gone...
So I took taxi to the airport (casted 10 times more than train! But super nice driver:D). And took nap on the uncomfortable hard bench.
At 4:00, I woke up because I couldn’t stand with the bench anymore. Got soup and hamburger for breakfast.
Finally it’s time to go!
I slept whole hole three hours of the flight. First time to come to Taiwan!
This coin is the ticket for train!
It’s always SUNNY (not rainy) wherever I go! This time I had rainy weather forecast whole my stay, yet no even one drop of rain for the first day! We’ll see how it goes on the rest of my stay...
The coin ticket was really interesting. When you get off, you put it in the gate. It’s eco friendly system than paper ticket systems.
Seven-eleven in Taiwan has lots of photogenic-drinks!
Had some snacks to head to Tainan!
Hight speed train
My Taiwanese friend Yang helped me to get here from airport.
Finally we we met again!
its been half a year since we were in the Philippines! He brought his girlfriend, she is so lovely!
Left: Taiwanese water
Right: Japanese water
We got Tainan city!
So humid and warm!
We rented scooters (I just rode backseat) and ready to go! Last time and first time I rode backstreet of scooter was in Italy. This time, I got used to ride!
He booked the hostel for me( he did everything!cant thank you enough...) which is so pretty and clean!!
We headed to the market area and got some food for late lunch.
This ice cream was so good, but it’s so hot to eat ice cream and it’s melted so fast.
This person was burning something. Yang’s girlfriend told me that this is burning some specific paper for god.
We went to the ait museum. The building was so cool!
Grabbed boba and got to Yang’s house!
i knew boba( babble tea) is very common here, but that was much more than I expected...!!
And it’s cheap and BIG!
Entrance door has letter “spring” upside down. I asked him the reason why. He told me that it makes meaning “spring has come” and spring means Chinese New Year.
His mom and brother were so nice and kind, they did warm welcoming even though they don’t speak English. Thank you!
Since boba boba and scooters are so common here, they have eco bag for boba!!!
We had Taiwanese hotpot at very photogenic restaurant!!! It was so great, I love the sauce to dipping!
It was amazing day! And at night, I found out that I had some other friends who were from Tainan! Hope I can meet them during my stay...
Thankful for the wonderful day1!
good night!
day22 Milano-Tokyo
Buongiorno!
got ready and ate breakfast with my roommate. She was Taiwanese girl and she watched Japanese anime “atashinchi あたしンち”!
I hadnt seen a while haha
and I found this post in hostel! Love this!!
Said bye to her and headed to the center.
This is place was one of my favorite places in Milan.
Beautiful weather made my day!!
I bought so many things and got late lunch ariund 3pm. So gooooood!
Got to EATALY and bought a lot!
Went back to the hostel with heavy bags. When I got back there, I met Julian who i met yesterday and talked a lot. Said bye to him and headed to the airport! See you in Japan!
I got to the airport pretty early. Did some shopping and got snack!
last snack in Italy was things what I’m gonna miss a lot!
The dryer in the bathroom was funny.
Still felt hungry, so I got Italian snack...!!!
Ciao, Italia and Switzerland! Grazie mille! Love youuuuu!
I got to Dubai!
The problem was started at this moment even though I didn’t know yet...
the plane was delayed but I could get the next one without any problem.
On the was to Tokyo, a flight attendant called my name and gave me this.
Nooooo! My luggage was not sure if it’s on this plane or not because of the delay!!!
After got to Japan, I received a email said my luggage is arriving at Japan tomorrow night flight....
well, I tried to be positive. This could be good thing. I’ll get my insurance back, don’t need to carry heavy luggage, and it’s gonna be sent my home. It’s a bit late, but that’s not really matter...
At least I’m safe back!
My trip is not gonna finish until luggage arriving.
However, I really really enjoyed this trip so so so much! I love everything I’ve done on this trip. And appreciate all the people who I met, also thank you so much for everyone who read my blog!!
some people gave me some comments or likes which always encouraged me a lot! Thank you so much!!
Surprisingly (or not) I gained 3kg in Italy and Switzerland lol I probably should do some exercises and restart yoga,,,
I’m gonna start my new life from April, new house, and new job. Its so excited but a little bit of fear at the same time. Although I have faith that the experiences what I’ve had so far are gonna help me to go though everything I’m facing in my future.
Hope see you all soon! I might be came back to this blog in 4 months.
My next destination is...♡!
love you all! Ciao!
Haruka
day21 Milano
Buongiorno!
Got breakfast and got ready.
Ciao, Milano! It’s been a while! This time, I felt much different from the last time. Got used to the life in Italy so much, and felt so comfortable.
I walked to the center and found a pretty vegetables store which looked a florist!
Caio again, duomo! Pink marble!
Lunch time, I met 9th pilgrim Paola!!!!! That wasn’t the plan until last night! She sent me a comment on Facebook and made it!! We didn’t speak same language, always using google translate. But that wasn’t any problem to have a conversation, and we totally enjoyed that situation! Hahaha
We got piadina for lunch!
And went to the river and walked around.
This place was used to be a laundry place. Paola told me how to wash!
We headed to a gelateria called Amorino gelato.
She did art!
We we had so much fun time! See you, grazie mille!
after she left home, I walked around and found so cool apple store!
Store went to the underground
When I headed back, I found not big nose but “small nose”! Reminded me Rome. miss so much...
After took a rest a bit, I went to pizzeria with Katia. Staffs there were awesome and so friendly! Piazza was amazing!
So good last night in Italy!!
Still can’t believe I’m gonna leave tomorrow. I love this country so much and all friends I met on this trip made my stay. I’ll enjoy until the end! Im going to EATALY tomorrow!

At Termine station, I had cappuccino.
3hours trip to Milano centrale
Ciao, Milano i felt like back to home.
Headed to the hostel which I stayed the beginning of my trip. Got dinner and met Katia who I met at the last stay!! Updated everything, and went to bed.
Oops, I got some special messages tonight. I’ll write about them tomorrow! So excited!!!

day19 Roma
Buongiorno!
Slept over 12 hours, recharged!!! Got breakfast at the cafe in front of my house. I ordered but my cappuccino didn’t came for long time, my order was totally forgotten because of peak time...
Finally!!
Around 10:30, started to walk to Vatican Museums! It was a bit cloudy but I really enjoyed this color and weather!!
Big nose! I decided to take pictures of all big noses I see today.

It looked very cloudy while I walked, yet the sky above me was so pretty like this!
It had cleared up!!

I got Vatican at 11:30 and my ticket was 13:30. When I walked around, one ticket salesmen talked to me. He tried to sale the ticket I already had, so we just had conversation. He took me to the cafe and talked until 12:50. He works for the tour company and knows a lot of things about Rome. It was fun to talk, and I learned some of Rome.
There was a loooooong waiting line in front of Vatican museum. I had a ticket, skipped all of them and got in!!
There were some craftworkers walking around and once they found the place to repair, stared immediately.
There were a peace of break and an orange... I had no idea...
Lovely sky!
Vatican museum was huge,,, a little too big for me, but I really enjoy with audio guide.

I got really hungry and finally found the cafe which has food.
Got lasagna... mmm taste okay...
I got to colosseum at 5:30, and that was a closing time! So I couldn’t get inside. I stayed Rome for 5 nights and I didn’t do inside of colosseum hahahaha
Even though I’m not really interested in tourist things, this is funny. I was pretty optimistic about that because I’m sure I’ll be back here soon.
Last night in Roma was with Filippo! He picked me up with scooter, and we went to a popular restaurant. Always there was a long line in front of the restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes and got in.
The water bottle was so cuteeee! We nearly opened one bottle of wine!!! I drunk a lot!
This pasta has very interesting shape and taste amazing....
definitely wanna eat again...
When end we finished to eat, a waitress gave us an “after alcohol”...
It was good tho
After dinner, he took me to the place I can see the city. It was so beautiful, but it’s hard to tell with picture. I enjoyed with my eyes!
That was wonderful day! When I got to Roma, I didn’t like here that much, but in the end, I’m totally fall in love with this beautiful city.
Buonanotte...
day18 Roma
Buongiorno!
Woke up super late and enjoyed morning (or even afternoon)
Around 3pm, Camino friend Danilo picked me up and took me tour by scooter. Personal guide with scooter... perfect!!
pyramid!
This is the view from backseat!!
Because I took pictures from backseat, some of them aren’t straight.
This is the place that rich people live.
Foro romano
He he took me to the garden door which has a big keyhole.
You supposed to see vatican through the keyhole.... such a difficult to get the focus. This is the thing you should enjoy with your eyes.
Funny water fountain
Beautiful view!
Looks a mouth of truth
In rome, there are a lot of water fountain which is drinkable. This type of them are called “big nose”, and just keep water go.
We headed to the mouth of truth. There was so long line, so get the plan b!
Plan b, Baths of Caracalla!
We went to EATALY to get cafe! I love EATALY inside. The chandelier was made by coffee cups. So cute
I got pretty hungry, he got the Italian sandwich for me! That was breakfast/lunch/dinner today. That was just three ingredients inside. Each ingredients were so fresh and they made the taste wonderful. I love Italian simple food which has very fresh ingredients!
Wall painting
Grazie mille for making time for me and giving me a wonderful personal tour, Danilo!
I went back to airbnb around 4 pm, last night/ this morning was super late... I needed to sleep,
stay home and went to bed around 7pm...
Buonanotte!
